You Need Chickens
If you’re going to live in the woods, you need chickens. If you live anywhere else except maybe a studio apartment, you need chickens.

These girls give me my breakfast every day. But here’s what else you should know:
-Fresh eggs from pasture raised chickens are lower in cholesterol and higher in vitamins and minerals than store bought.
-“Free Range” on the label basically means nothing. It just means they are not in cages. They are only required to have “access” to the outside, but that’s about it.
-Unwashed eggs are shelf stable for a LONG time. They have a natural membrane that keeps the pourous shell coated, preventing spoilage.
-They will eat anything, so a small flock can survive off of food scraps, bugs, and minimal commercial feed.
-They’re low maintenance, high reward livestock that are fun to raise!
Hope y’all take the time to check out my other projects! I love you guys, God Bless!
